Our family-run second-hand bike business was established in 2010. We are a trusted retailer of quality used bicycles and was previously called Oxford’s Reconditioned Bicycles. We are located at The Village Shop, Stanton St John. Richard is in charge of the bike workshop and Rowan runs the village shop and is available to help with telephone queries.

All second-hand bikes are serviced to ensure trouble-free cycling for you and are covered by a 30-day warranty (excluding punctures).
Our sources of second-hand bikes are buy-backs from departing students, local bike shops offering part exchanges, a social enterprise teaching bicycle repair, and another supplier receiving bicycles donated to a local authority recycling centre. We offer low-cost options but trusted brands with good quality components provide the best cycling experience for you.

What a find, and what a lifesaver!! I recently got into cycling and while on my first solo ride, I ran into problems with my chain not shifting to the largest cog. A kind bystander (thank you Gareth @Copse Barn) recommended Richard who was just down the road at the village shop – just my luck! Richard gladly offered to help. Even though it was his day off work, he was extremely patient in helping me tighten my cable tension, adjusting my derailleur and gears. In about 20 mins, I was wiser about my new bike, it was fixed and ready to be taken back on the road.
